Easter/Spring Rep Shoot 2017

Hello all my love's! Well the first Rep shoot for 2017 has finally happened and it was such a good time! I ended up with a group of 14 Reps and was so pleased that all but one were able to attend the first shoot of this Rep season. We all traveled to Gordon Moore Park in Alton Il. and found the most beautiful area to portray our spring/easter shoot. The reps were happy to play around with all the props I had found to portray this shoot, we had a fun bike with a basket full of flowers and you can't have an Easter shoot without baskets and chocolate so we had a those as well. In addition to all the props we wanted to have some cute bunnies or chicks but man they were impossible to find so we improvised with having the kids bring their pups and they were a big hit!

I am so excited for this Rep season but also a bit sad as most of the team will be graduating at the end of this year and so many of them have been with me for what seems like forever. I do plan on making this season an Epic one, we have a lot planned and some exciting adventures ahead of us so please keep checking this site so you can experience it all with us.

Newbies

Hey there everyone! Well it has been an eventful few days here at Halo & Wings Photography. Saturday I spent several hours chatting up the crafters at the Mom's craft fair here in Granite City and Sunday I spent the afternoon taking pics of all my Newbies and the old guard as well. Tonight I wanted to introduce you to the Reps that will be with me for the next several years. It was a weird recruitment this year, normally I get a lot of Juniors and Seniors waiting in the wings to be Reps but this season it has been all about the Freshmen and Sophomores. I ended up having 5 girls and 1 guy sign up and they really are showing me some great things. The newbies really impressed my older Reps and they all got along really well. Tonight I will show them off a bit and introduce you to them and let you know that you will be seeing a lot of them this Rep season.

Landri Collinsville Senior 2017

It's me again ... It has been a busy winter and so many of my long time Reps are graduating this year and I am so excited for all of them to begin their new lives. Spring has finally arrived and I am so happy to finally be able to deliver Landri's senior pictures to her. Landri has been with me for a couple of years now, she is so strong and has a definite point of view about things.  She is planning on going to SWIC to become a teacher and she will be a great one I am sure. I always have such a good time hanging out with her and we always have a ton of fun. Enjoy her pictures I know she loved them.

Rachel Granite City 2017 Senior

Howdy do people.. It's me again.  I am so happy to be releasing Miss Rachel's senior pics for you all to see. Rachel is such a sweet girl and she is the last of my Reps that had signed on in my second year of doing senior portraits so we have been waiting on this moment for a long time. Rachel wanted to represent a nautical vibe with her senior pics so off we went to Carlyle Lake. The area is ripe with opportunities for beautiful lake views as well as a sweet little areas of nature. I am just so excited for everyone to finally see how gorgeous she is and how beautiful her pictures turned out. Congrats Rach you did a fantastic job!

Josie Collinsville 2017 Senior

Hello all it's been a long time coming but I finally get to show off Miss Josie's senior pictures. Josie acted as my assistant this past Rep year and she was invaluable to me mainly because she is a fun girl to hang out with but also because she was so good as helping me out by carrying things or even there to start a campfire when we needed it.  Josie had a long time dream to have her senior pictures done on her family's farm. The farm was not near here but we decided it was worth the time and distance to make her dream come true. Her family was amazing to us and made sure that the farm house had been cooled off and made ready for our arrival. It was really nice that they did this as the day was a hot one and it was so nice to be able to jump into the air conditioning whenever we needed to. We took advantage of a beautiful property and got a cute country vibe going. Well with that said there is nothing left to do but show off her beautiful images, Enjoy!

Gracie

Gracie

Hey there everyone. I am just over the moon with excitement!  A couple of Sunday's ago I had a fun informational meeting to try and find members for this year's Rep team.  There was a great turn out and I am so thrilled with the crop of girls who will be coming onto the team.  Of my original 8 girls there were 6 that were there to help with any questions that any new members may have had and they were thrilled with the new team shirts I unveiled for the meeting.  Pretty soon I will be getting to introduce all the new Reps and that too is exciting for me.  But before I get to do that I need to show off Gracie.  Gracie is a Junior at Dupo High School, she joined the Rep team later than the other girls last year but has been a valued member nonetheless.  So without further ado here is Miss Gracie.
