Investment or Value what do you think!!!

Hey there everyone it's the last day of January and I am looking forward to February, how about you? Tonight I want to chat with you all a bit about Investment over Value.

When someone asks us how much senior pictures cost we can give you prices and estimates, but there is a question you're not asking that you should be, and it is a question you have to ask yourself. What is the value of senior portraits? The most common thing parents say to us is that they haven't had pictures of their kids in years sometimes a decade. Childhood has been a mixture of thrilling moments captured on an iPhone but rarely printed. In these last moments of childhood, at this pivotal time, there is always the question of price but there is also the question of value. What is the value of having a photograph that really shows who your child is? What is the value of a canvas that you walk past every day and feel joy, long after they have moved out? What is the value of documenting this child on the verge of adulthood, at this last brief moment when they teeter in between? What other product or service can you buy that will only increase in value every year until it literally becomes priceless?

Senior photography can be expensive it is an investment but I think your seniors are worth it!!

Kirstyn Dupo 2018 Senior

OMG!! I can not wait to show off Miss Kirstyn's senior pictures! I was honored to do two sessions with Kirstyn, first we did pictures reflecting her love of volleyball and then we took a fun trip to Pere Marquette to show off the beautiful fall colors. Kirstyn is going places thats for sure, she plans to enter the Army after graduation and wants to mix things up. Kirstyn is a bold soul who wants to be an Army medic and be right in the thick of things on the front lines. She wants to work her way up in the ranks and eventually become a pediatric doctor. She is the sweetest person and I loved having her on my team. Thanks for all the good times Kirstyn and I want to wish you the best on your journey!! Enjoy!

The Search is On!!

Hello again my lovelies. I know it is a rare thing for me to put out multiple blogs in a months time but I really need to up my game and give you all some valuable info. So this is my plan, I plan on keeping you all informed as much as possible with a few informative blogs mixed in with all the rep shoots and client blogs. So keep it tuned to this station LOL.  Tonight's blog is all about my never ending search for Reps. As some of you know I usually start my search right after Christmas and I like to have the new team formed before March 1st. This gives me time to meet with interested parties and to find the ideal people to fill the team up. Some of you may ask what is a Rep and what is their function, well a Rep is an ambassador of sorts. The essential job of a Rep is to encourage their friends and families to book me for their photography needs. In return for the Reps hard work they receive a discount on their senior portraits and they have the ability to participate in fun themed shoots throughout their time on the team. Over the past 6 years I have had 51 Reps come through my life and I have had to make changes to the program so that I get the ideal candidates that will stay with the program from start to finish. One of the most important aspects I look for in a Rep is attitude. I want a girl who is confident with herself and is a bit quirky. The next thing I look for are girls that are influencers within their common circle of friends I also look at their other team commitments and finally I look at their social media presence. You would be so surprised (or maybe you wouldn't) how much a good social media presence is needed in this day and age. I like to tell my Reps that being on the team is a lot like any other after school activity, you get out of it what you put into it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My program is a lot of fun and like any other after school commitment I do ask for a program fee however the great thing about the fee is that as long as the Reps stick with the program they earn that money back in the form of their Senior Portrait session fee. So why should you join you ask, well its a great opportunity to become comfortable in front of the camera, its a great confidence builder and most importantly this is an opportunity that can be included on your college applications as well as job applications. I love being in all of the Rep's lives and seeing them grow and mature I also love that these girls have the ability to make lifelong friends and memories. Well I think I have made my case LOL so as an added little bonus how about a few ads from years past. Enjoy. Oh and hit me up if you are interested in becoming a Rep!!!
